What does an Invisalign consultation involve?

During your consultation, the Silverlake Smiles team takes pictures of the inside of your mouth to help determine your unique needs. You can share your concerns or goals with your provider and then collaborate on an Invisalign treatment plan.

Using cutting-edge iTero™ scanner technology, your provider creates a 3D image of your teeth to customize several versions of your Invisalign clear, plastic trays. The plastic aligner trays move your teeth slowly over time, incrementally straightening them.
You’re responsible for putting in and removing the aligner trays, and you’ll need to wear them 20-22 hours a day. You should remove your trays when eating and brushing/flossing your teeth.

You can expect to wear each tray for 1-2 weeks. Plan to visit Silverlake Smiles every 6-8 weeks to track your progress and receive your next aligner tray.

You can expect to see results in a few weeks and depending on your needs, your Invisalign treatment plan may last anywhere from 6-24 months.
